Excellent Pool Maintenance Product
I learned about this product from a friend who owned a pool supply business. At first I was skeptical since algae is always a problem during pool season. I started using Pool Rx 4 years ago and could not be more pleased. The minerals dispersed in the pool (a 16 x 32 in ground) totally control any algae buildup. What is really impressive is the fact that you can use a significantly lower amounts of granular chlorine and still keep the pool algae free. One unit easily lasts the entire summer. After the pool is balanced, just drop the unit into a skimmer basket and forget about it. Just follow the instructions to not backwash to give the chemicals time to fully circulate throughout the pool and the filter. I highly recommend this product.Read full review...

This little unit is easy to use and only need one per year, also available cheaper refills. I have scrubbed, put liquid algaecide and clarifier for 7 years Into my hot summer my South Florida salt water pool always fighting and never could get ahead until I bought this unit. One and done! Really Works to Get Rid of Algae
Our pool guy recommended this product to us and said it's the only thing he's seen that works for algae. This is our second purchase and I'll tell you first hand that they definitely do work and work well. At last, a product that really helps to get rid of algae in our vinyl pool that sits all day in the Southern California sun. No more scrubbing all of the time with a pool brush or vacuum. It helps out a lot with the maintenance of a large pool. I'm very pleased with this product and would recommend it to any pool owner.
