My husband and I read this book thru back in 2004. We are now reading it again in our morning devotionals together. I am a firm believer that sometimes we need a little refresher course on subjects that are important in our walk with the Lord. Even though this book was published in the 70's it is so pertinent for today. Just before I read this book -I read another book called The Power Of Positive Thinking. It was good but I knew that just "thinking" something is not going to change anything. Most of the time "things" don't just drop into your lap-it takes thinking, planning, and "doing something". That is the way it is with the words we speak! That IS the "doing something". This book is totally based on the awesome TRUTH of the Word Of God (Holy Bible-the scriptures are taken from the King James Version)--so it is chocked full of scripture references. So if you want "things/circumstances to change or take a different direction in your life then this book is for you. THIS BOOK WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE IF YOU LET IT. Here is the answer for many. It is Christ of course, but this is what's missing for many.

Our words make a huge difference. Our confession determines our blessings in large part. Where I fall down is that even after reading this, I find it very difficult to change. I was too steeped in this empirical, scientific age. There is empirical truth and faith truth. They blend in our lives, but they don't really mix. The Power of your Words by Don Gossett, E. W. Kenyon

I love the book. It reminds you that we have a benevolent God who delights in opening the windowns of heaven to pour his riches down on us. There is nothing wrong with having money or the nicer things, following the theme that God delights in seeing his children have abundance. The importance of confession is stressed. We have no more faith than we confess, we confess our needs and give praise and thanks and we receive what we asked for. This is remniscent of "The Secret", but reminds us that our abundance always comes from our Father in Heaven....we are not the master....he is.Read full review...

Awesome book, a must for anyone and everyone. If you REALLY want to access the POWER GOD gave believers in Christ, this book shows you how!!
I never know how powerful our own words are for positive or negative, we need to know this.
It is based on Biblical TRUTH.
