The standard for other models

The Prentice Hall molecular model set for organic chemistry is pretty much the standard for many classes. It makes a great way to quickly visualize the structures being studied and is durable enough to take the constant building and breaking down of models. It is the best tool available if you're the type of person that needs to visualize a concept to master it. The only downside to the product is that it is fairly expensive and even used it maintains its value making it sometimes difficult to find at an a discount. Good product

Depicting free rotation of single bonds using the molecular kit is easy. However, creating double and triple bonds is not easy because the actual bond representation is hard to bend. In addition, creating and separating atoms and bonds is hard and takes a considerable amount of time.Read full review...

Very impressive

I feel good about this purchase. I usually avoid purchasing stuff on ebay because I suppose that once I receive something I am unlikely to return it even though it doesn't meet my satisfaction. This item, however, is way, way overpriced anywhere else so I took a chance and ordered. The price was right (the best on the net as far as I am concerned) and I was willing to have purchased it with a few pieces missing, but it was all there and that makes me very, very happy.

Organic Chemistry is the toughest course that I have taken thus far in my college career, and I will use this model set to conceptualize the material especially as it regards the stereochemistry.Read full review...

Serves its purpose for organic chemistry

Good product pieces are easy to use and can't build a variation of molecules. Cyclohexane can be flipped easily and wide variety of colors of atoms make it easy. Overall a simple yet useful product

Molecular model was great!

I love the item thanks it saved me a bunch of money from buying it at the university bookstore. It really helped me learn my molecules by using the models I can visually see what is happening.
