Awesome 2 Cd Set...A Classic Remastered + RARE Live Cd!

As a huge fan of 80s hard rock and Def Leppard, I'm going to be completely honest...PYROMANIA was the band's last great Cd. Everything since has been to much pop rock and not enough hard rock, heck they've even done a country song now! Anyway, this DELUXE EDITION set is truly a collector's piece featuring a remastered PYROMANIA (disc 1) and a RARE Live Cd (disc 2) from 1983 (from the famous L.A. Forum). And while PYROMANIA has never sounded better, it's the 2nd disc that's the real treat as it features the band performing songs from there first 3 releases (and their best three releases!) live...taken from 1983 when Def Leppard still rocked! With such tunes as "Bringin' On The Heartbreak," "Wasted," "Billy's Got A Gun," and "High n' Dry," it's the 2nd disc that's the true fan favorite of the set. It's great to hear the band from their early years, long before the death of Steve Clark and drummer Rik Allen's driving injury which forever changed the band's sound. So if you love the earlier days of Leppard, then this set is definitely for you. I give it 5 out of 5 stars. ROCK ON, LLNRead full review...

Def Leppard-Pyromania[Deluxe Edition]

This is by far my favorite cd that Def Leppard has ever released. It was released in 1983, and sold over ten million copies. All of the songs are very excellent, like "Photograph", "Too Late For Love", and my favorite all time Leppard song "Foolin'". You have to have this in your hard rock collection, because it is definately not complete without it. It would be just like a hard rock collection without "Guns N'Roses-Appetite For Destruction", "Led Zepplin-4", the one with "Stairway To Heaven" on it, "Ozzy Osbourne-Blizzard Of Oz","Aerosmith-Toys In The Attic", and "Kiss-Destroyer". The new deluxe version of this cd jams even more clearer and louder then the original version. It has a really cool concert on the second cd that I have never heard before that is an excellent addition to your Def Leppard collection. They should have remastered this a long time ago, because this is hard rock music that you should never be without.Read full review...
