Better For New Yorkers

This is one of those films that is funny, but hilarious to those who live or have lived in the Big Apple. It's chock-full of in-jokes.

The story is simple: use a (nearly) foolproof scheme and get caught in an escalating series of weird frustrations in trying to get away. What makes it work is that for anyone who's spent a lot of time in New York, much of the side actions seem absolutely genuine.

It's all about Bill, he's amazing, he's the center of this movie, if you love Bill you'll love seeing him in action, spinning funny only as he can, I'm a definite fan!

Genius disguised as humor...

The story of three of the nicest bank robbers you would ever want to meet, and the big mean city that stands between them and escaping with thier money.

The plot swings in wide arcs that throw the main characters through such rapid changes that it's almost like watching a Simpsons episode with layers of humor that keep firing as rapidly as possible.

Murray is in great form as a master planner - coming in to his own - while the plan goes to pieces around them. It really makes use of his skit and sketch abilities and allows every scene to add something fresh.

Also, in a bit part it features Tony Shalhoub as the cab driver who gets an interrigator instead of an interpreter while trying to catch a bluftonai.

Very funny, Classic Bill Murry!!! Surprised to see that it wasnt more known. Randy Quaid is Hillarious in this, very funny role for him and competes with Cousin Eddy in the National Lampoon series!!
