Mysoginist crap
I purchased this film because I am a fan of Pascal Greggory, having enjoyed his work in other films. This was a horrible film, unfortunately, not only because it is so tedious and uneventful. It is the story of a poor, orphaned, unattractive girl who is victimized time after time by nearly every man with whom she comes into contact. Why does no one have any compassion or pity for her? Clearly the director does not. To believe that the main character, an affluent Frenchman, is pining away for her love is ludicrous. He merely wants to get into her pants and use her, just as every other man does. This was a revolting 2 hour experience -- what a waste.Read full review...
Gross and disturbing foreign film
This movie is highly disturbing. It is slow, dull and drawn out. The entire film is subtitled and spoken in two different languages. If you are into snuff films or enjoy seeing young girls being taken advantage of by 50 yr old men, then you would probably enjoy this. I found it quite gross.Read full review...
