Perfect console

I turned one into a retropie gaming console for my girlfriend and just to see what it was capable of. It plays everything up to ps1 perfectly. We geeked out over all the old games we used to play and eventually I bought a second and surprised my best friend with one with all his favorite classics. These things are just fun to play with, we overclocked to 1.4GHz and loaded dosbox. There is just endless possibilities with these and eventually I'll buy another to make a DIY home security system. If you like to tinker or you're an enthusiast do yourself a favor and get one. These things are perfect for home networks and media players as well.Read full review

A very nice little computer.

I am writing this review on the Pi 3, and am having no issues with it. I have two microSD cards for the Pi 3, that I used with the Pi 2. One has Raspberry Pi, and the other has RetroPie. Wishing for better Android support

Can't help but give full stars. Love it works good, but without Android support things like watching Netflix etc become difficult. I'm manly using this one as robotics controller, but would love to see more work on graphics acceleration. For instance you must download Kodi to watch YouTube or Vimeo. You cannot in the browser. Over all great machine for robotics, simple server, slow Nas or Kodi as of 2/21/17.Read full review

So far excellent

While the Raspbian OS lacks the ability at present to run ordinary google chrome - the chromium browsers few limitations aren't particularly challenging to get around. Just know that running Kali or Mate has it's own odd challenges as well - i.e. no sound etc. For an SBC it's a wonderful and versatile device - try the retropie with playstation and n64 games to see what I mean. It has the ability to do plenty - be sure to grab a class 10 sd card or learn how to boot it from USB for best performance.Read full review

Not yo' Grandmas - RASPBERRY pi

These little things are great. Got a few of them for my son and I to tinker around with. We are excited about Computer Sciences - how cool is that!
Really amazing how much computing power something as small as a credit card contains. Raspberry Pi 3 are a whole lot of value for between $35-$40 (US) delivered.

Raspberry Pi 3B Is Perfect For Retro Gaming

This thing is really small, really cheap and really great for retro gaming. I use retropie installed on arcades on it. I recommend using a case or pcb feet since it's practically a miniature motherboard, with circuits exposed. A+ for this!Read full review
