Ray-Ban used to be owned by Bausch & Lomb. Now Ray-Ban is part of the Luxottica Group. I have a Clubmaster made in the early-1990s by Bausch & Lomb (made in U.S.A.), but it is black with gold rims with the smaller, original size lens. This one is a 51mm. I think this one is very well-made. I do not know if the lens itself is better or not, but they are no distortion that I can easily detect.Read full review...

Ok, but not great looking

These glasses do not look like the picture. The dimensions are very different. The lenses have greater height than width. To me, they don't fit my face. Nevertheless, they appear well made (by today's standards), and are an attractive color. If you like that look, they are fine.Read full review...

Ray Ban Clubmaster

Bought these shades for a steal and they're in great condition! They arrived in a short amount of time and they came brand new and included everything that was advertised in the description. The leather case is high quality and it also came with the cleaning cloth, a Ray Ban booklet, and an instruction manual. This a great deal and I will buy my Ray Bans from here again.

You get what you pay for. These sunglasses came in a case with the cleaning cloth, but they do not compare to the Ray-Bans we purchased from an authorized dealers. Definitely a great purchase for my daughter to use this summer, especially for the price. We have 3 other pair of Clubmaster Ray-Bans and these are not of the same quality. I am really happy with these sunglasses I purchased through eBay. I feel I got a great value for my money as I had looked at prices on the glasses from various vendors and sources. I feel they are very good quality, fit me well, and am glad I held out and found some with the polarized lenses. I think they will last and work well for many years.

New Twist on Classics

Purchased these for my wife. This particular version of Clubman has the polarized lenses, which is unusual and important given our lifestyle. Polarized lenses seem to have become less popular given their extra cost and the fact they are not compatible with LCD displays, but in certain situations like on the water or in snow, the reduced glare makes a significant difference. It also makes them a little more expensive. The quality of typical of Rayban, which is high, but these glasses need to be treated with care.
