The igniter wire is also a flame sensor (it seems). To me, this item should be sold for a third of the price. I bought a similar generic unit, but it was too touchy because it was a bit shorter and didn't sense the main burner flame. This one solved the "main burner ignition" failure and the heater is fixed.Read full review...
