What a great series for middle-schoolers! My seventh grade son is finally into reading, and reads for 90 minutes a day because he wants to. Great for vocabulary, but makes readers hungry! This book has caused my son to want scones for breakfast quite often! The book discusses the food at the large feasts, and has caused us to try several new recipes!
