Release the Stars - Wainwright, Rufus (CD 2007)
Rufus Wainwright had allready proven to be a mega talented singer/songwriter. But for those of you who still tried to claim the opposite here's his fifth studio album "Release The Stars". And, it's a realy treasure. All 12 songs are extremely good. Which is pretty unique these days, releasing an album with not one bad song on it. from the first notes of "Do I Disappoint You" till the last ones of "Release The Stars", this cd rocks your world. It gives you the feeling you're about to come after the best sex you've had in your whole life. And while being on the subject of coming, my moment of explosion is without a doubt "Not Ready To Love". This song goes right into... well, right into everything!! No, this cd will not be out of my cd-player for a long while. I highly recommend this cd to everyone who loves real music and to all the dreamers of the world.Read full review...

I love Rufis Wainwright! He has got to be the best, when I heard that he had a new album out I just had to get it. Rufus Wainright-King of Music!
Not only is this Rufus Wainwright`s best album to date but IMHO the best album of the year hands down.Elton John has said RW`s the best song writer on the planet.Sting`s comment was Rufus`s music is timeless in any age.All of RW albums are classics and this one is the best.I will add one more tidbit as far as i know he is the only artist that every single Motion Picture Comp. is courting for soundtracks.He is the most talented artist in the world today.Make way the king of music!!!!1Read full review...

This was purchased as a gift for my daughter. She seems pleased with the music...likes it a lot. My daughter will be 21 in July '08. She has never been what you would say...mainstream. She enjoys a lot of different kinds of music...from rock to world music.Read full review...
