Replacement gas spout
The new, OSHA approved, "safety spouts" are nothing but an aggravation. They are almost impossible to use. These replacement spouts are perfect for the job at hand. Good fit, no leak, well made, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend these.Read full review...

Fix your child-proof gas can!

It screwed onto the plastic can just fine using one of the two different spout connectors it came with. I like the filter screen that is incorporated in the spout. Waste of money
This nozzle leaked at one of the accordion bends upon first use as the plastic is too thin throughout the entire nozzle. I should have known better judging the price and country of manufactured china. I had to discard the whole order as none of it measured up to the task.

It's about time that something old is new again.
After trying 3 different types of safety cans with my small engines, upsetting them and spilling fuel, I decided that was not a safe practice. However, I feel safer transporting the can from the gas station to home with the safety spout and then replacing with the new "old school" spout when refilling the small engines.
