A bit cheesy but a surprisingly good way to get some physical activity and scratch that power-leveling itch some gamers have.

When Covid hit, this game flew off the shelves and was nearly impossible to get for less than $150.00, so I was really happy I could get it for less and it shipped immediately.

I've been using the Adventure Mode to maintain a regular workout, and I've been surprised how much I like it. Sure, it's a little cheesy, but I'm an RPG gamer who's been grinding out levels for years. Turns out, if I have to physically do each turn of combat, I'm gonna get a pretty impressive workout just by trying to power game as much as possible. In just the two weeks I've had it, I've already lost 6 lbs. and I'm on my way to losing more, and that's just on the average settings with two "levels" a day (give or take). Read full review...

Not perfect but a solid option

Pros: The game starts off strong - I like how the difficulty is adjustable, you can play as many levels as you want for your workout, and the cooldown stretch is based on what you actually did. Choosing different moves based on the RPG scenarios is fun and helps keep it from getting mindless. I don't know how long the campaign is but after two weeks of play I still look forward to it daily and feel engaged when playing.

Cons: The characters WILL NOT SHUT UP. I've found that playing the game on mute is the way to go. More importantly, I've been having a lot of trouble with a lot of the leg moves - the criteria for squats is so far past my range of motion as to be painful to attempt, and I've had a few moves where the game just doesn't recognize the motion even if I try my best. I've gotten around this by "cheating" and either doing a different motion or holding the leg joy con in my hand to simulate what it's looking for. It cheapens the experience but it's better than being unable to progress without shattering my knees.

Requires discipline...... it is not compelling enough to NOT require personal DRIVE.

The end objective is to get daughters to play the game with discipline of at least 30 minutes a day..... They have not achieved it but they see it feasible and they understand the purpose.... its just now a matter of them DOING IT.Read full review...

Wonderful indoor FUN

We love this game! My son played it too long and got some sore muscles. I am a runner but not every day. It is HOT in New Mexico so this has been a fabulous way for all of us ( me and my twin 9 year olds) to get exercise in the house. The bad guy is funny, graphics are beautiful and it can be as tough or (fairly) easy as you like. Worth every penny.Read full review...

fun workout game

Fun game. I do wish you could actually customize your play character but it is fun and simple exercising without feeling like a chore. Will you get ripped? Probably not. But could you maybe tone up and have fun while doing squats, lunges and shoulder exercises? Probably so. I like the mini games, and the story is also fun. The Nintendo Ring Con seems very sturdy and does have a good amount of tension. Overall, I recommend it. Read full review...

A great start to getting healthy

Dialogue is a little cheesy, but it adds to the charm. Its obvious great lengths were gone to properly teach and advise fitness as it truly is, and not as a glamorized product. Fully customizable workouts and additional bonus content make this a must buy for anyone with a Switch and an interest in starting fitness.Read full review...

Good for casual exercise

Product shipped quick. Game itself is a great way to get you up and moving during quarantine, with cute graphics and a decent storyline. As someone who worked out frequently before COVID, this isn't exactly the same, but gets my heart rate up and my sweat drippin' Read full review...

Extra physical activity

I work out with a personal trainer three days a week and I got this to do some extra exercise on my “off days”. It has worked pretty well so far. You break a sweat pretty fast

Must play!!!

This is one of the best games, and one of the best fitness games, that I have had the pleasure to enjoy! If you like fitness games like Just Dance or Fitness Boxing, then you’ll love this one. Ring Fit Adventure has a main story mode that blends fitness and RPG gaming elements, but this game also has many other modes that are just as fun and interesting to play! This includes mini games, workout focused sets, jogging through different environments, and even a rhythm based game similar to Just Dance or DDR with a great collection of songs! The replay value is incredibly high, and I love that you can switch off with another local player/account when you’re doing any of the game modes! So happy with my purchase, it was worth it to pay extra during this short supply period! Read full review...
