It's a great great game. Seriously. I've been playing the guitar for just about 2 years now and could never seem to understand how to play the electric (I only played the acoustic prior to this). This game really helped out, it teaches your the basics and you move up slowly until you master the concept/song. I really like the riff repeater feature, that's how i like to learn my songs. I put it on 70% speed at 60% difficulty and slowly increase the speed and difficulty until I can fully play without any mistakes. I would definitely recommend this to friends, its a great and fun way to learn the guitar.Read full review...

ROCKSMITH 2014 is a GREAT learning tool for playing the guitar!

I bought Rocksmith 2014 for my 16 year old son...He LOVES it!!!! He not only has fun playing, but feels he is truly learning and has improved exponentially! The 2014 version is far more geared toward instruction, compared to the original version that just seemed like a game.
