The only iron to have. The Rowenta iron I replaced was18 years old. Read the instructions and Rowenta iron will perform for years. The heavier weight is what you want for getting out wrinkles. It glides along and is easy to handle. Light weight irons don’t get the job done. The narrow “nose” is perfect in between buttons and tight places. The steam and spray buttons are easy on my arthritic thumb. The water here is hard (15 grains) so I use 1/2 distilled and 1/2 tap water. Doesn't work properly

I tried six outlets and the iron wouldn't heat up. Finally I jiggled the cord and then it worked off and on while I ironed. It leaked water all over the clothes and the spray doesn't work properly...just a tad of water came out. Needs to be returned.Read full review

Rowenta works well

The many steam vents makes it possible to iron an item quickly. The red light is supposed to turn off when the iron is heated to the correct temperature. The light on this iron remains red all the time, unless it is blinking to show that the iron has turned off. So, I must guess at when the iron has heated to the correct temperature. It could be a defect in this particular iron. The iron is not as light as the iron I was previously using, but it's not a problem.Read full review

So Far So Good!

I have only used this a couple times, but think that it should last a while.
It is not lightweight, in a good way. I feel that lightweight, especially in something like this isn't a plus. It feels very sturdy, and I like the precision tip!
When I went out in search of a new longer lasting iron, all comments, star ratings, and personal reviews and suggestions pointed to Rowenta!
This price was the best price/value I could find. And I really know how to hunt down the best deals! ;)

Quality Iron!

This is a quality iron. Maybe its a little heavier than others but that ok. The nose is more pointed than regular irons which lets you get into the small places easier. It has the auto offs just in case I get to multi-tasking and forget it's still on. I hope this lasts for a very long time. I recommend this iron to everyone.Read full review
