This product works perfect! Unlike the small "mini" type, which have poor visual output, this unit offers great picture, as it was intended to be. Granted, it cost a little more than double of the "mini" type, the picture is much more pleasing and also more stable as well. The "mini" type often cuts out or perform even more poorly, if all of the wires are not in a straight line. Recommend this unit for sure.Read full review...

It's works, but the video quality is terrible.

S Video Converter
Using it with a Satellite Receiver and a 1080P Smart TV Generally an easy install an use.
There is a very light "ghosting" of geometric patterns in some scenes. A problem of the up-conversion, I'm sure. I plan on getting rid of the Satellite in the future anyways Costs too much for the content received. It's why I bought the smart T.V.Read full review...

Graphics are improved almost too well. It upscales what normally should be 480 to 720p so it looks like some one turn the sharpness all the way up on your tv. You can always go in your tv setting and lower the sharpness it will resolve that issue. Other than that it works great.Read full review...

Allowed me to view my old SUPER VHS tapes
Purchased the latest top of the line Samsung 4K TV and found it only accepted either HDMI or USB inputs. Old tech such as RCA or S inputs (remember them?) are no longer supported.
This device, however, allowed me to bridge the 'time barrier' and view my old S-VHS tapes with acceptable quality.

Not for this price.
Very cheaply made. When plugging and unplugging composite slots it feels like I'm going to rip them off. The composite slots feel like they are made of the cheapest plastic. It gets really hot over 30 minutes of use be sure to unplug the power adapter when you are not using it. Switching to 1080p causes flickering and pretty much makes it useless 720p is nice and playable I have no problems in 720p so far. This does not go full screen you will have borders of black bars randomly depending on which system or game you play. Only thing good about it is the sound is great and there is no lag at all I play comfortably at 720p. If this product was 15$ at most I'd say go for it but I wouldn't spend 45$ like I did.Read full review...
