Scaleblaster

It seems to be softening our well water which made very few soap suds before being installed. Also the accompanying orange staining seems to be halted or at least slowed in our sinks and bathtub. It has only been 10 days and there has been a noticeable difference in water quality. Ppm is 120 in cold water and 226 with hot water. That is very acceptable and is better than the water at my city home which also contains chlorine and ppm readings of 229 and 447. For under 100 dollars this is worth a try in my opinion. It may deserve 5 stars if water quality continues to improve.Read full review

Scalesweeper is working Great!

the results are still coming. the tap water definitely tastes better (no salt) and the hard scale stains are slowly disappearing. glad my old water "softener" unit failed and i was "forced" to look for something "better". i just wish it had happened sooner!

Not for very hard water

We have very high scale in our water. I installed after disconnecting an old Scaleblaster. Scale got worse. Restalled Scaleblaster and then also put the Scalesweeper downstream. No more white scale powder coming from icemaker.Read full review
