Works fine

Its not top quality however for the weekend gear head it seams to work fine.
The adjustable headband works but does not stay tight and if you tighten the knob to tight it slips.
The lenses work great for magnification and we are very pleased with that feature.
I do not use nor expect to use the light feature.
For the price these are a good value. If you want something like you could have bought 40 years ago that was extremely durable then these are not what your looking for.

Nice Idea, But Frustrating

As with all iPhone-"compatible" devices, if it's not Apple brand then it probably won't work very effectively. This one is no different. It's a nice idea, the price is a good value, and the design allows you to keep your normal phone case on too, but it doesn't make for a reliable charge because it's not OE. Too much frustration.Read full review

great for the price

I bought this head light/magnifier for architectural paint investigations and it stands up against its contemporaries. It is comfortable, easy to store, the light works well and it offers decent magnification. The lens are slightly lesser quality, so they can go out of focus more easily than other brands I've used, but it is to be expected since the price is so much lower.Read full review

OK product

I had to modify the knob that adjust the size for your head, it would not hold the adjustment, simple mod, the lenses are not adjustable for the width between your eyes, I usually focus both eyes through the left lense.Magnification is good,
Over all this item is ok for the price, it can be made to work with a little adjustment and patience.

Indispensable Vision Aid

I used to have a headset like this, but without the extra magnification loop, and I didn't use it so much 25 years ago. I let it go in a yard sale, and I regretted it later on when I started wearing glasses. Now I've got this set, and it's a real life-saver... and at a good price. I've used it to make repairs that would have otherwise been impossible. If you don't need a headset often, it's still a good idea to have one of these in your shop or at your hobby table. When you need, it's there. If you don't have one, your work stops.Read full review

VERY USEFUL VISOR MAGNIFIER - GET ONE YOULL NEED IT SOONER OR LATER-!

This is my second one as I accidentally broke the first, but it was my own fault. The small swing away loupe magnifier is a bit more delicate than the rest of the rig so watch that, I dropped mine and broke the loupe's retaiiner ring, but I dont consider it a fault as youre not supposed to drop an optical device in the first place. Im very pleased with the value I get for the price, at my age it allows me to work on things I could never see to work on otherwise. Is it the best version of a maginifying visor available-? No, but its also many times cheaper than than the expensive ones and if you treat it well it will serve you well. The good points are: the twin LED light that can be both swiveled left and right as well as tilted up and down, its bright enough, works well and uses two AAA batteries. Also there are multiple magnifications, the built in binocular lenses, another set of similar binocular lenses that swings down inside and best of all the small eye loupe that swings down and really shows the hairs on your arm up close, that is to say it offers a very close up view and the lens is actually glass. On the negative side, you have to be a bit careful with the eye loupe, its frame is plastic and the frame can break if dropped directly on it as mine did, but the lens didnt break just the plastic ring holding it, again if youre reasonably careful it will be ok. Also the head band adjuster is a bit stiff, but once you get it set to your size you really dont have to move it anymore. Once in awhile you will need to tighten the side knobs so the visor will stay in position, but again it takes awhile for this to happen and I dont consider it a problem. Overall even with the small nitpicks ive mentioned, this visor is a great value at its price, maybe a jeweler or professional technician might need something better, but for any DIY home user this is a wonderfully useful item that is worth every penney it costs.Read full review

make old men see clear again !! hardy hah hah

This in conjunction with my reading glasses is top notch, there are better models that i used to have that changes the lenses out front, This one comes with a lense that makes me look at a 3 inch distance, which is way too close for comfort, overall i can live with this, but ive had better. IMO get the ones that let you switch out lenses , dont cost much more.Read full review

Comfortable fit and lightweight

The headband is comfortable to wear for short periods of time. Great device for occasional watch repair or other closeup viewing. The extra magnifying glass located on the side seems unnecessary. For a low cost product, it works very well.Read full review

Nice product but has some issues to overcome

The lenses are clear and well made. Mounting 2 lenses at a time makes it flexible for adjusting to different distances. The 2 lights on the visor are very bright & give you a clear view of your work area.

The visor is heavy and constantly slips down. The weight of the visor makes the visor drupe down letting the lense stop on your nose. The bottom of the lense is sharp & needs to be rounded because it will contact your nose. The aluminum tightening nuts for the visor loosen when you raise the visor & are too small to grip easily & tighten. The head band is hard so I wrapped cotton batting material around the front portion where it contacts my forehead.
