Now I can render this game console on my monitor with the Dreamcast adapter it adds a new dimension of game play all over again. Cool to revisit some old favorites !

Fun games, must have for collectors, be sure you dont pay too much.

Sega Dreamcast is a console that CAN be timeless fun, no nostalgia required. Sega brought many hard to find arcade games to this console, which makes it valuable for those who enjoyed them (i.e. Soul Caliber, the Fishing one with the rod/reel controller, House of the Dead 2). There are also many original titles that, while sometimes amusingly awful, are great fun, like Blue Stinger. Not outdated, just try it out

This is the greatest console I've owned. In 1999 the Dreamcast was the most wanted gaming device for me ever and it did not disappoint. Games like Virtua Fighter 3tb, Soul Calibur, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver, Shenmue, Phantasy Star Online, Quake 3 Arena, Sonic Adventure, Spawn, and so many more made this a perfect lineup in its short life that hit all of the bases. Its like having a perfect arcade console in your own home. Plus with optional VGA output, 24 bit color, and hardware based Anti-Aliasing the games hold up better today than Playstation 2, particularly on HDTVs. It may be "retro" (although its only one console generation old) but if you are on the fence buy one and you wont regret it. No messy OS to figure out, online multiplayer for several games (servers still active on some of them), no day one dlc, no drm, no patches to fix games that werent ready to ship, games dont all cost $60+. The games are just plain fun and thats been lost on the current generation consoles and will be more so on next generation.Read full review...

You can not go wrong with a Sega Dreamcast! Buy one today! Trust me!

One of the best and least known about consoles of all time!!!

Do yourself a favor and pick this up and grab a VGA box, VGA cable, and VGA to HDMI converter box for this and you will have one of the coolest most amazing gaming systems of all time.

Some of the most unique games of all time came out on the Dreamcast.

Look it up online, I have yet to see any negative reviews about it. Sports, racing, fighting, action/adventure, RPGs, survival horror, dance games, etc.....this system has it all.

You can find a console and controller for under $40 all day long. I've grabbed two for less than $20 a piece so far and will continue to buy one anytime I see it around $10. I have four just in case they start breaking down because I don't ever want to be without a Dreamcast. Hell, I'll give these to friends as gifts, and they will all thank me and say it was the best gift they got yet!!!
