Singer Heavy Duty 4411 machine
This machine sews like a dream through really heavy materials without missing a stitch. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because there is no easy way to hem jeans on it or anything that has a smaller opening. For the price I cannot complain and would certainly recommend it to one and all.Read full review...

Not very good for marine upholstery
Sewing clothing it's great, easy to use for a man. But the foot don't come up high enough for thick marine upholstery but I'm sure it can sew it, over all its perfect for a man to sew his own clothes

Great Sewing Machine
After being sick and tired of what seems like every alteration gone wrong, being overcharged for what was simple alterations. I finally decided to get my own machine and do the dam thing myself. All my research led me to this Singer 4411 Heavy Duty Sewing Machine that has just enough options to take me from a beginner stage to the next level of my liberation from overpriced tailors. The price for me was a no brainer and the machine looks modern and operates like a dream with no issues. I am happy and wallet is a little fuller in fact. If your a guy like me and want to hem, sew a few lose buttons on, make a few alterations to some oversize pants then this is your machine😉

Happy, but hard to compare from personal experience
I bought this product for re-upholstering chairs with heavy upholstery fabric, and it does a great job. If I had purchase this again, I might want to try the machine one step above this one; it's comparably priced (amazon), and has better reviews. The only other machine I've owned is a basic Brother free-arm, which was fantastic for my typical projects using lightweight materials. I'll be interested to see how this singer handles leather and rubber for my next project- sewing recycled handbags and laptop carriers. :)Read full review...
I like the speed - Easy to control the speed
This machine makes the one I have feel like a toy. I love the speed which is easy to control with the foot petal. I had a large sewing project to complete and completed it with ease.
I have only had the machine for two weeks but so far so good.

Performed as advertised.
Exactly as advertised. Was looking for a reasonably priced heavy duty machine, Singer's 4411 is that machine. Have done light and medium leather, blue jeans, and rather heavy upholstering material. I am experienced, but the instructions were excellent, so a beginner could use it. Very good buy at the price. .Read full review...

Singer la la
I purchased the singer 4411 sewing machine
I thought I had purchased a very good machine , since I always have used singers.. .
The first time I used the singer , it broke on a pair of pants I was hemming . The pants were made of a regular cotton blend. no extra bulk just plain single fold hem.
The needle hit the bobbin and broke it. I put the sewing machine away. and have not used it since. .
I am very disappointed in Singer , they are not making the sewing machines with pride anymore.
Now I m looking for an older Riccarr . made of metal . Those are Heavy Duty.Read full review...
Good ole Singer
Good ole Singer Sewing machine. This is a really nice machine. Its use is easy (even for us men) and it even came with a cloth cover to protect it when not in use.

This machine saved the day for the Elsa dress.
I bought this machine as a backup to my always dependable Brother- who just when I needed it most came up missing its bobbin casing. I used the Singer to make an Elsa dress for my grand daughter for Halloween- and it performed like a champ. The material my daughter had purchased was challenging to say the least-ranging from slippery silk to shiny gauzy overlays that shredded very easily. With all the fabric types, the machine performed well and I am very satisfied with it. It has numerous stitches and functions available, but is simple enough to operate that I can use it to teach my grand daughter to sew. It is also lightweight and has a handle- so very portable. I would recommend this machine to anyone wanting an affordable, reliable ( I think it will be) easy to operate sewing machine.Read full review...
Light weight and great features
My previous sewing machine was a singer too. I liked a lot so I bought this one, good quality, easy to use and good price.
