Fabulous improvement on an already great turntable
I've had my Rega Planar 2 turntable for decades and thought the sound was excellent. I read a review of this platter in an old mag and wondered if it was still available. It was and relatively inexpensive so I took a punt. What a good purchase. I couldn't believe the difference - Highs clearer and crisper, bass even better separated, no rumble - just briliant. "Platter Up" your Rega
Nicely priced for a quality addition to my Rega...I didn't use the dampener but kept it for the future...The platter's lines are absolutely true vertically, which was important to me with the AT440mlb using a low tracking force...The 10mm might be a little thin for some, but on the Rega with a mat, it's perfect...I didn't think I wanted the unnecessary weight of a 13 or 15mm platter and I don't the decision....Price was a bargain and delivery was sooner than expected by me and predicted by them and Ebay....GregRead full review...
