Sabbaths, bloody Sabbath
For all the fans of Black Sabbath "Sabbath bloody Sabbath" was a sign of the soon coming end to the first metal band. Having lost the edge of the 1st 2 albums, the musical change that started with Master of reality, Vol 4 and sabbatoge was now coming full circle, fame had done it's dirty work leaving Ozzy and much of the band out of control. This was seen for all fans with ABC'S late night program "IN CONCERT" (reival to NBC's Midnight Special program). The performance at "California Jam" was to be the event of the summer, and the bands 1st national live apperance and turned into one of their wrost concerts ever, the nigth night program became the head stone for "Sabbath bloody Sabbath" with Albums sales weak at best largely due to the Highly Satanic Album cover and title (too much for the most parents day)the summer of 1975 would cast a deadly spell for Black Sabbath. For fans of the band like myself this was pretty much the end, most of the tunes are good, but none are great, Ozzys vocals are covered up with studio effects, combined with Tony's use of the same riffs used from past Lp's give's the music a feel of just going thru the motions, just to get thru the record deal and make some money to pay for their coke and boz the band had quickly falling victim too. This is one of the last Sabbath cd's I've gotten mostly to finish the 1st seven albums that I and many others feel are the real Black Sabbath.Read full review...
Decent but an overall fail
The last song to sound like traditional Sabbath is the title track. My complete honest review is that the keys just ruined this album. The synth and keys were not used to back the music but were very misdirected. Otherwise the music isnt bad and Ozzy delivers a great vocal performance. This really is the beginning of Sabbath's downfall although their next album Sabotage still had synth and keys but on Sabotage it enhanced the music. The 2 standout tracks are Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath and Sabbara Cadabara.Read full review...

BEST ALBUM EVER MADE!
great purchase, best album ever made. EBAY i do more selling than buying and think your fees are waaaaaaaaaaay to high.
Love Ozzie!!!
Saw Black Sabbaath with Ozzie Back in 1972 - it was a great concert but I never kept up with the music. I've be enjoying rediscovering it again(with a clearer head) and appreciating it more
A must have for the Black Sabbath collaboration fan!
Kickbutt rock 'n' roll with Ozzy as the frontman. I was and still am a big fan of Black Sabbath with Ozzy as the frontman. Not so much a fan of the other releases post Ozzy's departure.
