jaye wells mage in black, vampires & mages a very good book!
BACK OF BOOK SAYS:
SABINA KANE doesn't have the best track record when it comes to family. after all, her own grandmother leader of the vampire race, wants her dead. so when she arrives in ny to meet her mage relatives the reunion puts the fun in dysfunctional. not only is mage culture completely bizare, but everyone seems to think she's some kind of chosen who will unite the dark races.
I think i would have liked sabine to be a little stronger, have a little more stand up for herself back bone.
I think she allowed the council to push her around a little too much and the fact that they did not listen to her... which resulted in bad things happening well.......
as a bridge book, which is what i call an in between book to add new characters and further the story line to the next book, it was better than average, actually above average...
i would have liked a little more romance..........
and a little more back bone from the sister too, as she seemed to let the council push her around too much too.
but it was a smooth read, i didn't have to force myself to finish it, it flowed and was enjoyable and when done i was happy to be able to pick up book 3 and continue the story line in again not your normal vampire book title the green eyed demon.Read full review...
