Fits well, plenty of room

I like the bag. It fits my bike well and has plenty of room. One thing I was disappointed about is that the top doesn't stay open. This makes for less than optimum loading. If the top was "hinged" it would stay open and remove the loading problem. Otherwise it appears to be a good bag for the money. I haven't used it yet so I don't know if it is waterproof. That would be great. If it's not that would be another suggestion, or supply a rainproof cover. One that fits it well and doesn't flop around in the breeze. It's maiden voyage will be Run for the Wall, a 10 day ride from Ontario California to the Vietnam Wall in Washington DC, May 13 -22. I can let you know much more after that ride. The way to go for solo touring

Easy to mount and remove to carry into motel room. More room than you really need and works great as a backrest, cooler and easy access compartment. Does not interfere with tour pack lid or saddlebags. Not waterproof but that is easily adapted with a trash bag as a liner. I even use it for short rides of overnight or few days and have used it for a month long 9500 mile trip.Read full review...
