Penultimate, pun very well placed...
I have too long awaited my initial purchase from a manufacturer I admire and have considered the best (albeit vicariously, until NOW)! SAILOR.
This pen is the pinnacle of luxury, refinement, and value. But most importantly, its utlity as a fine writing instrument goes beyond what countless reviewers have poured praise. And so well deserved and, in my opinion, understated. The nib is as well a performer beyond any I can compare. With just enough pencil-ish feedback yet smooth without the scratchy unwanted corduroy sensation of lesser tuned writing points, Sailor's 21 karat master piece is a standard any calligrapher or just those enthusiast who love the intentionally purposed reason why we use none other than a fountain pen should not think twice about being without.Read full review...

As advertised, it's a quality pen.
Beautiful, no obvious flaws. Writes very well, no issues with start or flow. Like all Sailor fountain pens, there is some feedback but it does not scratch.
