256 GB's of Amazing Fast Speed !

Taking photos: Keeps the photos in high quality and extremely fast transferring of photos to Dropbox or the Cloud.
Music: I am starting downloading music from Amazon Prime and the downloads using WIFI are extremely fast. One long song took all of 3 seconds to download and the albums are downloading the fastest I have ever experienced. This EVO Plus SDXC card is simply AMAZING! LOVE IT ! For around a hundred bucks for this much GB and speed you just can't go wrong. I placed it in my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and have no problems at all. I formatted it with the phone in about two seconds and started using it with taking pictures and was just extremely happy with the performance. I HIGHLY Recommend this card.

Microsd was always corrupted after only 6mos of use

I gave it 3 stars only because i havent had it long enough to see that it stores all my photos & videos efficiently... now it has been a long time & it was terrible.. well to be fair idk whether it is the fault of this sd card bc i'm no expert in this field, but it was always corrupted! Not for Fire Tablets

Got this microsd for my Fire Tablet only to find it didn't like it. When I first put files on and then put it in the tablet it forced a memory wipe. Moderately satisfied

From my months of real world use with this card, I guess I would say I'm happy with it. The capacity is nice, and knowing that its made by a reputable manufacturer makes it more reassuring to have it full of data without constantly having to refresh a backup in fear of data corruption. That being said, I haven't seen anywhere near the speeds advertised on the packaging. MAX I've seen sequential is around 65-70MBPS, usually more like 40-50 though with peaks around 55 when there is a few GB already on the card. For comparison, every single one of my Sandisk Extreme plus cards will do 85-90MBPS consistently with the same exact data transfer. I do a lot of video and motion photography so all the data used for comparison was relatively similar, large high-def video files and HD photo albums. Some of the easiest files to transfer.

Overall though I've been happy with the Samsung card.
Its not the fastest card out there but the storage rating is true and you can count on it to not fall apart and corrupt when half filled up 'cough cough Kingston cough' uhhg excuse me, must be getting sick.Read full review...
