I purchased this TV as an OPEN Box item at a significant discount. I am always a little reticent to buy " open box" electronics but I was pleasantly surprised. The TV arrived in like new condition and set up easily and performs very well with great picture quality. The TV arrived in only a few days by and the Box and the contents were in great shape. Samsung motion smoothing - soap opera effect. Horrible, literally horrible!

Horrible, literally horrible! This TV come set to Motion Smoothing Soap Opera viewing by default! IT IS GARBAGE! There are no easy setting for turning off what Samsung calls "motion smoothing". Everything looks like video, like a Soap Opera. Nothing looks like film. Movies look like soap operas! I had a splitting headache in 15 minutes (I never get headaches!) Just Google or YouTube "samsung motion smoothing - soap opera effect" and read all the comments from consumers who HATE this feature! I will NEVER purchase another Samsung product.
