Excellent easy to use mobile phone
I was searching for a mobile phone for my 82 year old father. He had a phone which was a slider type and I wanted something similar not a smart phone. I made sure I typed in as many key words in search and a variety of phones came up. The phone us Exactly as described and a bonus has SD card insert so I will by card and teach him how to use the camera. Fantastic phone, he loves it.
I am in Florida and he is in Uk and there was only a basic instruction sheet so I found a manual online and we have talked through features, he is now busy putting in all his contact names and numbers.
Came SIM card free and he uses a Lebara sim for cheAp international calls. This is not a well known branded card however he had no problem inserting card and it worked perfectly.

SGH E250 mobile phone
I have had my E250 for 3 years now. The whole phone has been in perfect order all this time, including the slider, which is usually the first thing to go on most other phones.
It's easily manipulated and all the icons are simply accessed. Polyphonic ring tones, Edge Tri band and so travels well including the states. The camera function seems basic and when looking at the pic on the phone doesn't give a good impression but, with the bluetooth, put the pics on the pc and you'll be amazed at the clarity of the pictures. Ample capacity and memory cards can be purchased apparently. It has all the usual, calender, calculator etc...but I use the 'my folder' a lot to store important stuff and I find the memo section invaluable....
What can I say....! It's so good, I've just bout another as I unfortunately 'squashed' mine...otherwise, It would still have been in as good a nick as when I first bought it :0)Read full review...
Good value for money, but not all singing & dancing.
I had an E250, in red, for a few years which served me well but then stopped accepting a charge. Bought new battery and charger but still no good. Researched for replacement and couldn't find anything as good, with as many features that I wanted without those that I didn't need, & found this at a good price ( £20). Wasn't so easy to mislay the red one so would have preferred that colour!
Doesn't store a huge amount of text messages but other than that, is fine for me. You need to know that I'm a Senior so don't have same needs as youngsters though!
It does what I need it to do - enables me to call friends & family whilst out & about, + send & receive text messages. I can also take photos when my camera battery runs out but I need to buy a cable or micro card to be able to transfer the photos to my computer. Maybe I could email them to myself as the phone does have internet capability - I just never use it as the screen is too small to be of much use really. That is not a problem for me but might be for someone else.

i love this little phone its size is great for pocketing it performs allthe functions it was made to perform it was only a functional phone i wanted and this one is perfect for me
Brilliant phone very easy to use
This phone is so very simple to use and if you are looking for a simple phone for just sending & receiving texts and making calls this is a good cheap phone.

Replacement for the same model which broke. Very easy to use and wanted same model.It was in immaculate condition and arrived reasonably quickly.
Samsung SGH-E250 Mobile Phone
Not as good as some Samsung mobiles I have owned. Took 20 Minutes to get the battery cover off. Paid £55 for it on Ebay, have since seen it in local high street for £29. Disappointing!!!!!
samsung e250 poor batterie life
this phone is great i love it but i have to charge it nearly every day,i usualy charge my other mobile once a week so im using my old mobile now and feel i have waisted my money.so my opinion of this phone VERY poor batterie life and im sooooooo dissapointed.Read full review...
