Love It!!

Bought this DVD Player for my Den. It's nice and small, easy to operate, excellent picture quality, nice low price. These "open box" items have proved to be a really good buying option. My only suggestion to future buyers.... if you have an HD TV, then it would make installation a breeze if you first buy the HD cable, rather than try to figure out where to plug the cables, both behind the dvd player & the tv. With the HD cable, it would have made installation a snap, rather than some trial and error. All is well now and we're truly enjoying this DVD Player. Pleased that we bought it. Good light DVD viewer

Great Bare-Bones Player for all regions

I ordered 2 seasons of "Rake" that were coded for region 6 and would not play on my current North American region-only DVD player. This machine was set up in 10 min and played the new DVDs flawlessly. I did not even need the instructions...but am sure their are other features I will look up.
Great value to play much-cheaper Pacific region videos.

Region free but image quality not so great.

It plays any region DVD buy the image quality isn't that great. If you have a 40 inch tv or smaller it'll work, but the bigger the screen the poor the image quality gets.

Good unit for cost/value

A "no frills" DVD player, unit works well and does provide some modern features like the USB port. Budget conscious but still carries a name brand and that means their (Samsung in this case) warranty, so I felt comfortable knowing I can get help should something happen. Great DVD player

I love this dvd player! It's compact, lightweight, user-friendly, and functions well. There is very little delay in each command, unlike some brands where you push a button and there is a very long delay before anything happens.
