Good phone but...
The phone has just the right size. It fits my pocket easily and is easy to hold. Definitely get a case for it because of the glass back. It connects easily via bluetooth with all my devices. Battery life seems to be decent so far but it could be better. I wish the battery was replaceable so I could upgrade to a larger battery. The functions all work well and the fingerprint reader is very reliable. For this price point it is a good buy.

Much better than my old Samsung Galaxy Amp 2
Pros: This phone is a much better than my old Samsung Galaxy Amp 2. The camera is much quicker and better. I can hear people better and they can hear me better when I'm using it. I really like the speed of the phone and that it has 32 gb of storage plus I can use my additional sd card.
Con: What I get a little annoyed by is the fingerprint recognition. You have to put your thumb or whatever finger you scanned over the button in a certain position or it will not recognize it. Half the time I have no problem, and the rest of the time I have to enter my password.

I only bought the S7 because it is water resistant/proof. I do like that it is slightly smaller (therefore the cases are a little smaller as well). The system upgrades aren't too taxing when initializing the phone so that it a plus.
There is not a huge difference from the S6 and for a person nearing his 60s, it was great that the phone wasn't a huge change/difference to learn/use. I also didn't have to change my data plan, so all was sweet!!!

Excellent Phone which I have used since they were first available.
It has a memory card slot. I have lots of audiobooks and movies and the memory slot allows me the extra space. I can also quickly move the card from my phone to Tab S4.
Cons
All of the extra bloatware apps that Samsung puts on the phone. Most can can be disabled or silenced but a few are annoying like Samsung Pay.Read full review...

Fast processor, Crystal clear images.
This is one of Samsung's flagship phones from a couple of years back. Has almost every feature of the latest generation's top of the line.
It feels good in the hand. Smooth and well balanced.
The processor is very fast. Loads things in a blink. Animated images run smoothly and with no stuttering.
Even small details are clear on this screen and that's in the HD setting. This phone will show 4K.
The camera is very good for a smart phone, even in the auto mode. Same with the video, which it can take in up to 4K resolution.
I run it in high performance mode and still have charge left in the battery at the end of the day. Of course, that will depend on the type of usage and data connection.
The sound is pretty good with the earbuds that come with it, but I'm sure it would be much better with high end buds or good headphones. The included buds do have a phone mic and buttons to control the phone and other audio, on the right side wire. All of this works well.
Being factory unlocked for this phone allows it to be used with GSM or CDMA carriers so it works no matter which carrier you choose.
The memory can be expanded up to 256 GB plus there are portable wifi drives if you need more. Not likely unless you do a lot of video
This phone has an FM chip that's turned off. That's easily remedied with a free app, so you can access over the air broadcasts, to cut down on some data usage. Otherwise, load a few thousand of your favorite tracks on your memory card with room to spare.
One drawback is that the battery isn't removable. Once it starts to fade you'd have to deliver it to a shop with the right skills and tools to access it without damaging the case or the integrity of the sealing system. Even then, these glued in batteries are tricky. Kind of a shame with a phone like this that most people would find more than adequate for long term use.
Better pick up a good case because this phone is glass, front and back.
