I spray it on and around my front door to keep the mosquitos from entering my condo. My door is a dark wood color and hides insects well. I always suspected mosquitos would come in whenever I opened the door. After spraying the permethrin on my door, I saw much fewer mosquitos. From a mosquito a day to a mosquito a week.
It's odorless and apparently safe. If you can spray this directly on clothing and on your pets, it's gotta be safe, right? Plus it doesn't have that noxious toxic gas smell that most bug sprays like Raid have.Read full review...

The best weapon I've found to combat red bugs
While bush hogging food plots in preparation for disking, we historically encounter severe red bugs (chiggers). The bites are brutal and sometimes take weeks to heal. I sprayed this stuff on my work cloths, let it dry and went to work bush hogging and spraying food plots with my fellow cub members. It took four days to complete the work. We washed our work clothes every night and used them again the next morning without reapplication of Sawyer. I was the only person using Sawyer. I did not receive a single bite, while everyone else that was working received countless bites and spent their nights itching and scratching. I am now a believer and will not go out without this stuff during red bug season. Thanks Sawyer.

The silver bullet for ticks.
I have used this product for years in the Canadian Forces and it repelled ticks like nothing I have ever seen. I purchased a pump unit for use on my dog; its pretty safe for animals and the site has instructions for use on animals. We have a horrendous tick season here and I have noticed a terrific reduction in the amount of ticks on my dog. I also purchased the aerosol cans for use on clothing.
