Inexpensive plastic fuel can rejuvenation

This works on Blitz brand as well as Sceptre brand cans and provides a good seal on my Blitz cans as evidenced by the can shrinking and expanding with temperature changes and no odor emanating during the process.

This is a way better solution to the unvented can problem than the weird squeeze lever tops that came with my original Blitz diesel cans. The spout is long enough to reach into tight spaces (compared to the original Blitz hard black plastic vented spout that came with one of my Blitz cans for gasoline).

The screw on cap is threaded differently than Rubbermaid brand cans for both the large and the small screw on parts. If you had the original screw on portions, the Sceptre spout and gasketed seal should allow you to keep using a Rubbermaid can where the slip on gasket at the base of the spout has failed.

Not all parts fit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The shipping was more than the product. I have a Unistream gas can and they say this is a fit, NOT! The only thing i used was the big cap and the oring. The fill spout is double vented and the stopper cap falls off real easy! The small vent cap dos not fit at all! $9 a little to much for what I could use.. Read full review...

Highly recommended, but be careful!

I have a few 5 gallon Scepter gas cans I fill up when I redeem my fuel points. The nozzles on them were starting to act up. Gas just wouldn't come out! Newer replacement nozzles are even trickier to use, so I thought I would give this a try. It's great for my needs, but I will continue to swap out the old nozzle when storing and transporting gas. The reason? These are old school nozzles that will let gas pour out without having to jump through a bunch of hoops. That's *exactly* what I need when I'm filling up the car or topping off the tank on the lawn mower. There is a cap you can put on these, but I'm not sure if I trust it to hold if a container is knocked over during transportation.Read full review...

Scepter spout

I needed a new spout for the B&S diesel cans that had leaky spouts. This spout works with no leaks. The plastic for the spout is thin (the reason I grade the quality low), the cap is a press fit, but I suspect it will blow off traveling in the back of my truck. I wish the cap could be attached to the spout to prevent loss.Read full review...

Good Replacement Gas Can Kit

I found an old plastic 5 gallon Scepter gas can floating in a river years ago. It was sealed with the yellow caps on the vent and pour opening but there was no spout. I used it for years with a makeshift spout from a different can but it just didn't seal correctly. Finally, the dripping when pouring got to me so I thought "either get rid of it or get the right spout". This Canadian-made can is really nice and heavy duty, not like even the older US made plastic ones which are just a thinner build. With not being able to even get a gas can this nice anymore, I figured it was worth the $6 and change to give this kit a shot. It was a very pleasant surprise to find that all these components seem to be of the same build quality as the original can. This is the first time I've dealt with a spout of this particular design so only time will tell on it but, overall and for the price, I am very pleased with my purchase.Read full review...

Just what I was looking for.

I purchased two of these kits to replace the crummy CARB-mandated nozzles on my Scepter gas cans that I bought about 3 years ago. They fit perfectly and seem to seal well. I also installed aftermarket vents (not included with this nozzle kit, but available on eBay). I am certain I will spill and waste far less fuel now. Thanks!Read full review...

Scepter gas cap

Gas flows quickly. Much faster then original cap. HOWEVER, on a Blitz 5 gallon can the suppiled cap did not thread on. Used original cap and had to add a rubber spacer to make a tight non-leak fit. Also it would be nice if supplied dust cap fit tight for transporting filled can home.Read full review...

Use these to replace the old spouts on my plastic scepter gas container, along with a snap in vent. Brand new, made in Canada!

These work best of any I've found.

These have the grooved spout to relieve the gas tank pressure while filling your vehicle if you have the newer style gas filler that doesn't use a traditional screw on cap. Otherwise you will be spilling fuel when using. Have used these before and they lasted longer than the gas can.Read full review...
