I bought this lens filter for my wife's new (and expensive) camera. After all, a camera is only as good as its lens. And what good would that be if it got scratched? Well, these little B+W filters have have a brass housing, not plastic like so many others, which means it will last basically forever. And when you need it most, to come off of your lens or to go back on, it always will with ease. The F-Pro version means it has ultra tough threading on both sides, to easily attach and remove additional parts with regularity. The glass is the best you can ask for, Shneider from Germany. It protects your images from ultraviolet rays, which some digital photographers argue is not needed due to advances in photo-editing software. But honestly, a UV filter keeps your colors truer, which I believe is always better. And after using these filters I can say they are the very best and I would buy them again in a heartbeat.Read full review...

Perfect filter and case.
There is a new sticker to pack the case. It is brilliant idea to avoid fake one, but it was very hard to remove the sticky thing.

Not cheap, but perfect quality lens

Perfect quality filter for any lens. MRC coating protects from rain and snow, no phantom lights even in the difficult light. Perfect filter. Maybe exprensive one, but quality is outstanding.
