Good design...poor adhesive

Unfortunately this is great design product in it's concept but the result is terrible. After installing the mount on my 2000 Tundra that I have babied for 15 years of my life, I had to remove since I sold it. After removing the adhesive as per mfg spec's it left a horrible spot residue from the adhesive. So a perfectly maintained dashboard is completely ruined. Best magnetic phone holder without looking tacky. Easily adjustable and stays stiff to hold your phone a certain position when you need it. Also has a small metal plate for phones that use wireless charging. Over a year

I've used this product for over a year now and I am impressed! High and visible on my dash and still adhered after more than a year of use. It's small enough to look as if it was part of the car. I sandwiched the metal plate in between my phone case and phone without having to use the adhesive to stick it to the back of the phone and it works flawlessly.Read full review...

Variations of the same item are not always great.

I had a variation of this item. It was the same but maybe a different model. The first model that I had was great. It got left in another city in a rental car so I bought this one. It is essentially the same but slips off my skinny vents with ease. It is great if you have thicker vents. I really liked my first one, it fit a lot tighter.Read full review...

Mostly good.

Other than not having a proper place to stick it, this has been a good mount. I had to stick it in a place where the base hangs over the edge a bit but thats not really the manufacturers fault.
>My only complaint is that the ball joint could use some texturing so you do not have to tighten it so much to keep it from slipping. Once I got it to where I wanted, I had to tighten it with quite a bit of strength to keep the phone from moving the joint. The magnet works great. The phone does not move or slide around as I feared.
