Amazing and unique game. Must own for anyone who has a Dreamcast!

This game is one of the most interesting gaming experiences I've ever had. This is a game that's hard to review because it's not at all like any game you've ever played.

I hope you can trust in most people's word who've played this game and enjoyed it when we say this is a must play for anyone, core or casual gamers alike. This is also perfect for gatherings with friends.

Solid 5/5 for being completely original and intriguing.

Innovative

I like the idea of Seaman more than Seaman itself. I gave it higher scores than I think the gameplay deserves b/c much like much of the DC library, it deserves credit for thinking outside the box and trying something different. I do not have the microphone so I'm not sure if that would enhance the gameplay to a new level but I can't imagine it would.Read full review...

Why!!!

this Game makes the dreamcast, if you have one you should have this. Seaman was great because I felt like I was talking to a real person. The amount of what he knows and the wit and funny cracks make this my favorite game of all time.(If you don't mind the fact that he dosn't know anything after 1999)The only negative thing I have to say is that the game is hard to come by and is only avalible on the dreamcast. SEGA BRING BACK THIS GAME!!!!Read full review...

The strangest game you are likely to encounter.

Seaman is a diamond in the rough. From the very first time you put the disc in, it's unlike anything you have ever played. Basically a Tamagachi with a brain and sarcastic wit, this is one virtual pet that actually has a personality.

As a game, it falls flat, but as an exercise in creativity, originality and random funny quirkiness this title is second to none, and a must have for any avid dreamcast collector.

seaman is cool, just not when its on your chest, then its hard to wash off

seaman is a game you play with a microphone on the dream cast. you can yell at him and stuff, its really neat. he grows then dies. its kinda sad, but if you tell him he sucks, he says "so does your mother" that would be pretty funny if my mom wasn't partially paralyzed by a stroke and couldn't suck a penis, even if she wanted too.Read full review...

seaman (dreamcast)

i love the quality of this game, it was in excellent condition. I chose it for my brother because he is a video junky. he actually had the game at one time, but traded it for another. he regreted his actions,so i thought giving it to him for no reason would be fun. the great low price made it even betterRead full review...

A must own for any Dreamcast owner!!

Released when the world was obsessed with virtual pets, this game took that concept to the next level. Allowing you to speak with you pet (a fish with a human face) and hold conversations with it. You are also able to take your pet with you via the Dreamcasts VMU. This is a must own for any Dreamcast owner/fan.Read full review...

Seaman Dreamcast game

Seaman is not a game for the impatient. You are with your creatures every step of the way during their evolution. Evolution to end of game can take up to several months. But the voice-recognition and the sarcastic wit of your creatures is great fun.Read full review...

Dreamcast Classic.

This game is great and all...
but there is one flaw.
In order to grow the creatures, you need to check on them every day, and set all the tank settings back.
Yes, every day.
If you miss one day, the tank gets dirty and unhealthy, and they die.
Welp, that's cool.
Other than that, it is a decent game.
