I bought this book a few weeks ago and have loved reading about The Secret Garden. I have the movie, but I wanted the book. I know that reading the book will be better and more exciting. Frances Hodgson Burnett describes every detail of Mary's life. The movie is alot different than the book, I just wanted to see how different. It is also, a great book to read to kids. This was a must have book for my daughter who is studing Elementry Education to be a K or 1st grade teacher. She has loved this book since she was 4 years old, and was delighted that it was the first book they studied in her Children's Lit class.
