Great value

I've worn it a week so far, keeps time very well! The lume is amazing, especially if worn outside in the sun!! Pips and hands are generously painted and face is very legible. Really like that the crown is at the 4 o'clock position. Threads catch a little when screwing it down. The bezel is harder to turn than expected but practical so won't move if you start a dive. The chapter ring is slightly mis-aligned but you have to get really close to notice. Switched out the straps a few times, easy to do! I bought it with the jubilee bracelet which is very comfortable but a little noisy/rattles and thin with hollow end links so feels pretty cheap. Watch itself is a little thick and gets caught on a cuff pretty easily. Despite these minor flaws, I think it's a great value for the price. I would def recommend and buy again!!Read full review...

Excellent watch

I love the watch, beautiful, heavy, robust, not very large 43mm for my wrist is perfect. It loses about 3-4 seconds per day, but apparently this is normal for this type of watch. The accuracy depends on many factors, temperature, how much you move, in what position you keep the hand, etc. It's also a matter of luck, each watch has a different behavior, and I guess I was less lucky. I think I can live with that. To compensate the 3 seconds per day loss, I leave the watch face up, during the night or when I take the shower. This accelerates the watch and gains back the lost seconds. More time you leave it in this position more seconds it advances compared to the atomic clock. In the end I don't have to adjust the time at all, and my watch is always within a range of +/- 5-10s accuracy.Read full review...

Great watch for the money

Classic looks. Highly modifiable. Looks great on a Nato Strap. Keeps great time. Stock Jubilee bracelet feels slightly cheap but wears light. Put it on a Nato or Zulu strap for only a few dollars. My only wish would be that it could come in a 45-47mm.Read full review...

Best watch I've had in a long time !

Great watch black face instead of blue otherwise perfect. I bought it to replace another Seiko automatic I've had since 1967. A stylish Rolex type band with a flashy watch case & lower stem that screws into the case. I love it !Read full review...

best watch for the money

I collect watches, and this is one of the best automatic watches for the money. Every collector should have one as a beater watch, this or the 007 which is the black model. And if you are just looking for an affordable watch that is stylish (timeless style), dependable and that you can dive with, look no further. Read full review...

Seiko SKX009K2

Excellent value for the price.

Bracelet
Jubilee style, extremely comfortable. Could be better: solid end links, better clasp, screw fitted removable links.

Case
Well built, with brushed top and polished sides. Not the most precise finishing (brushing could be better).

Bezel
Aluminium insert, 120 clicks. Not much play (I saw brand new Rolex Subs with much bigger play).

Crown
Stiff spring. Screw threads pretty rough.

Lume
Extremely bright, long lasting (4-5h)

Movement
7s26. Not a fancy movement, but extremely well regulated. Keeps time within a tight +/- 8s/day.

Overall
Probably the best value tool-watch that money can buy. A certified ISO diving watch that's perfect for all the EDC enthusiasts all over the world.

Iconic Seiko...no Coke! Pepsi, Pepsi

The Pepsi version of the iconic Seiko SKX line of watches is probably one of the most recognized watches in the world. I chose the Malaysian version (K and not J) to save a few dollars. The bracelet is the weakest link with hollow end links, pins and not screws and slack in the link connections but I still love the look of a bracelet. The watch is running a few seconds a day fast but is well within the specs for this movement. In fact, it is better regulated than my SARB035 with the 6R15 movement. Read full review...

Best watch value, bar none!

Quickly delivered and perfectly packed. I have always liked these "off center" Seiko diving watches. Would have preferred a quartz model but this is the real deal. Buy with total confidence!

Top Notch (PEPSI)!

I have a 007 and wanted to get the 009 because I also wanted the Pepsi bezel. What more can be said about the SKS models from Seiko that has already been said. Ton of info online which helped in my decision in purchasing these watches. Only thing I didn't like is that the chapter ring is ever so slightly mis-aligned. Other than that it's just an awesome workhorse that I am confident will last me years to come! 100% happy with my purchase!Read full review...
