Can you read Japanese?

I am building a pool deck and have to pay attention to wood cuts in all sorts of angles. At the same time, I didn't want to be hauling 14' and longer boards to the saw and supporting them with outriggers....this uses up too much time when you're working alone. Using a hand circular saw is the next best thing, but you need support for the shoe of the saw. This tool does the job handsomely with first rate construction, however, I use it just to transfer angles measured with an accurate digital angle finder. One question for the manufacturer: We carpenters like it when these tools don't move on us while we're cutting. The tool has a slick surface non-conducive to clamping. Can you engineer some way for clamps to grip this tool? Another suggestion: The tool came without an owner's manual printed in English that would help first time buyers who read only English figure out the markings on the dial whether or not they are in English.
