It's ok, nothing special
When I first played this game over a decade ago, I was blown away. The 3D graphics, the full motion video with real people. Unfortunately, this game did not age as well as many other 3DO games. The graphics look ok at best and the video is not very impressive, not to mention muddy looking. Personally, when recently playing both Shockwave 2 and the original Shockwave, the original is the better of the two. I'm not saying this game is not worth buying, it's just generic feeling compaired to some other 3DO titles. For a great action shooter game for the system, check out Killing Time. It might be a bit more than this game, but it's well worth it.Read full review...
shockwave 2 beyond the gate (3d0)
I loved the first shockwave then the one after was odd you had to have the first one to play that one. I had the first one and got the next cheap becuse of that. shockwave is a great shooter.
Sweetness on a disc. . .
This is the best of the Shockwave games. It not only delivers everything from the first but you get new weapons and much enhanced graphics. Tight game play and good challenge round out this game. I would highly recommend this game to any one that either likes flying or combat games. A+Read full review...
