I started with SimCity 2000 years ago. I enjoyed it, and I love how this game is similar. It is more challenging, which is great, but it also has a simple idea behind it. Wonderful game that makes you think, every action has a reaction. Very well done game. Features are very wonderful, and the simulated disaters are very well done. The graphics and other reactions of the game are better than in the 300 version and the new features add to the game. The game has many new buildings and government positions. I love this product, but it is so unusual that almost every time that I get this game it has less and less features than the other one. You would think that they would all be the same.

Disappointed

Disc 1 was defective. It wouldn't load beyond 22.81% no matter how many times I tried. "Retry" and "Skip" did not have any effect. The product key worked fine, however.

A Way to Challenge your Creativity and Practice Lots of Strategy

I love Sim City 4! Great detail and animation in the game, with lots of challenges to overcome. Installs easily. One thing I would point out to anyone thinking of buying it-don't use a touch pad to play this game. Sim City requires lots of clicking & dragging while building your city, and scrolling around the screen. Excellent PC Game for those who love the series

SimCity4 is a great game if you love the simcity series. The graphics are better, the management more detailed and the game play smoother. This is DEFINITELY better than SimSocieties if you like civil engineering and true city development. SimSocieties is more "fun-oriented" and more like the Sims. Cool game but gets boring after a while

It was fun for a about three weeks and got bored after you set up a few cities. This game definitely has a lot of bugs and takes up a lot of CPU power.
