Sincere, the real deal
I have listened to Amy Grant since My Father's Eyes came out. Amy is a gifted lyricist who writes from her heart. That's what I love about her. She is real and sincere. I love this cd.. the title song "Simple Things" ...as we age things fall into their proper perspective...as she sings "I remember when I used to want it all, funny how the big things seem so small..." Uplifting, upbeat, and worth every penny. Will listen to many many times :)
I really loved this CD. I find Amy Grant's work to be deeply moving, and though I am not a practicing Christian, her messages of love and kindness influence how I live my life. Her voice is nothing short of amazing and works well with the lyrics. In short, a great buy:-)Read full review...
