Entire Family Loves This Game!
Even my sister and nephew who are shy, love this game! We bought this for my daughter's sleep-over party to keep all the girls entertained all night. They loved it! Unfourtantely, I only know about 4 of the songs ( Bad Day, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Take On Me, and I Wanna Dance With Somebody) am I telling my age here? Anyway, I would love if they came out with a Country Songs game. My daughter knows most of the songs, but even if you don't know them, the person who actually sings the songs ( Whitney or whoever)voice is heard throughout- so you can learn em all. I am giving this a good instead of an excellent because I don't know most of the songs and the mics won't work with other games ( like Americal Idol which I'd love to try but don't want to buy more mics). But it is really great fun and keeps everyone playing together, even Dad.

This game is best for teens.
Lyrics' words are a bit though to read for my 8yrs old. Wish they had some young kids songs, other than that everything is perfect.

Singstar is amazing!
I bought Singstar for my girlfriend after we'd played "Lips" for the XBox 360 and she loved it. While the cordless mics from Lips allow for more freedom, I think I'd have to say I prefer Singstar. You still get 30 base songs plus medleys that can incorporate any of the songs. I don't know if Lips has that feature or the games that Singstar does. You can play with 2 teams of 1-4 people and compete for points, it's really a lot of fun. I personally cannot stand the sound of my own voice but found the competitive nature of the games, and the ability to lower the volume of the voice, far too much to resist, as has every one of my guy friends who, normally, wouldn't be caught dead singing karaoke. It's really a ton of fun for parties or just having some friends over to goof around. Highly recommended!Read full review...
SingStar Pop for PSII
Let me start by saying I used to be a professional singer. After giving birth to my son, I decided to retire from my band. The only outlet I had for singing is sitting in with the band every once in a while or going out and singing karaoke. It's not the same as being in the band but it let's me at least have that musical outlet. I recently purchased a few of the SingStar games just for some extra fun with my best friend. We have grown to really love these games! They are a lot of fun!! Not to mention, it helped break my best friend out of her shell as far as singing. She was very shy about it before but now she is all about the competition between us! We love it!!!Read full review...
Singstar Pop PS2 spells fun, fun, fun
I bought this for my 13 year old daughter and I like it as much as she does. This is something that we love doing together. Neither one of us would make it on American Idol but we do this is our living room and we have a blast. The songs on this one was the ones that she knew and I actually knew some of the songs. So for a great time that you could have with your teenager I would highly recommend this video game.Read full review...
Sing Star Pop Game only
Very fun to play with a group of people. A group of mom gets together 1 time a month while kids are at school just to have fun for about 2 hours. This has a varity of songs that everybody should know at least 1 or more. A fun was to goof off at home and not make a idiot of yourself. Does not matter if you can sing or not due to adjusting song/mic sound.Read full review...
Fun for the whole family
This is a fun must for karaoke fans. It is modern music with a mix of some 80's stuff thrown in there. It is a fun way for the family to get together and belt out their pipes. It's easy to follow and packs a lot of laughs when you hit the playback feature and you can hear yourself sing. The classic videos are a joy to watch and can also be an asset to reminding you how the song goes. The mics are great quality and the color coordination makes it fun for duets as well. So if you want to find something to do with the kids as a family, this is a great way to bring them all together.Read full review...
SingStar Pop game PS2
Fun for multiple players- easy to do, bought because it would be fun to play as a family at home. As long as you can read the lyrics you can sing along with the pop songs you hear on the radio. It plays the video and give the works and rates how you are doing on words, pitch and length of the note. You can also playback how you sounded with out the artist singing with you to see what you really sound like.Read full review...
SingStar isn't really that great.
The songs are okay, decent, and popular but the game play is pretty dull. It felt like I could have save my money and sing to a music video on youtube. The game is basic 30 music video with lyric and you sing along. The pitch reader is not that accurate or maybe too accurate I can't tell. You don't even need to say the word, it only reads that tone/pitch of the voice. You can basically scream the song and get a good score. The microphone feels legit and it can be used for computers. The game is mainly a party game that everyone will enjoy but not enjoy playing it but enjoy whining about it.Read full review...
Singstar pop
This is one of the best singstarts by far--quite a collection. They are fun easy songs, and easy to follow along with--even if you don't really know the words. It's fun for all ages, myself(28), my neice(16), and even my 67 year old mother love this game!! You really can't go wrong.Read full review...
