Good game

This is the first game in the series I bought for my 7 year old son, because of some of the positive reviews. The game has a learning curve and involves some planning. My son, who thinks he should be a master after only one try was at first frustrated, but now that he has the hang of it really likes it. Sly and the gang are thieves and when they go around looking for things need to make sure not to be detected (planning). However, there is plenty of fighting action going on too, which my son likes. There is also a place where different moves can be learned before starting the actual level, which is very helpful. In all, it is a good game with several levels.Read full review...

-The Summary
-You begin at the end basically. You get caught by a giant monster and your life flashes before your eyes, and that is when the game really. You run through a series of jobs to pull of a major heist, eventually gaining a new team mate at the end of an episode, eventually arriving at the “first” level. You must then open the Cooper vault and take your fortune.
Aside from the main story, there is Two Player Mode. In this mode, you and a friend can play in four modes; Cops and Robbers, Hacking, Biplane Duel, and Galleon Duel.
-Cops and Robbers is a One-on-One duel between Carmelita Fox (Cops) and Sly Cooper (robbers) in Venice, Italy. Use special Power-Ups to gain the advantage over your enemy. First with five K.O.s wins the game (as in all non co-op modes). In Hacking, you must try to beat 20 different level of firewalls, using different power-ups. This mode is co-op. You both share 20 lives. In Biplane Duel, you and your friend fly in Biplanes using power-ups. In Galleon Duel, you battle it out in pirate ship. By sinking small boats, you acquire power-ups.

PS2's Most Loveable Character!!!

Sly has remained the best character for the family throughout his run on the PS2 and I hope it continues to be that way. The game has undergone changes and new playable characters have been added to the mix. Multiplayer has also been added so now the whole family can play together. The graphics are still there and looks just like a cartoon. Boss battles and city chases are huge parts of the game along with some great aerial battles in an airplane or using the famous paraglider. There are really no hidden secrets in the game as there has been before so the replay ability factor is down. But the gameplay is solid and the characters & story is just too much fun to pass up. This is another must have Sly Cooper game. A+ 5/5Read full review...

Sly 3

Sly 3: Honor Among Theives is the third installment in Sucker Punch's Sly Cooper Series. When I first played this, I was shocked! Everything from the graphics to the gameplay was way better! I'll start from the beginning...
At the end of Sly 2, Bently was injured and now has to ride in a wheelchair. Murray took his injury personally and quit the band of theives to bring peace to the world. But then Sly meets someone named McSweeney who ran with his father back when he was a theif. McSweeney tells him all about the Cooper Vault, the place where his family hid all their loot for generations! Apparently, only a Cooper can open the Cooper Vault, so Sly and Bently go looking for it. But when they find it, someone named Dr. M (the Monkey) who's been trying to break into the Cooper Vault for Decades! So, long story short, Sly and Bently have to get "an army" of world-class theives to break into the Cooper Vault and collect Sly's heritage, starting with getting back Murray.
Next, gameplay! There's lots of different people to play as, and even lots of different sets of controls for each character (as in, Bently can move around as himself and do stuff, but he also has a remote control helicopter that can bomb and shoot stuff, but only on special missions). There's lots of different stuff to do and interact with, not to mention a multiplayer mode! All in all, the gameplay has improved quite a bit, even if there wasn't much to improve.
Finally, the graphics. There isn't really much to say about the graphics, aside from that it's almost the same as the last game's and that it's cartoon style brings in players young and old. Still, I'm sure long time fans of the series are glad that there's been no change. I mean, what style other than cartoonish could be better for animals with no pants running around stealing from criminals? Oh, I almost forgot, there's levels in 3-D! Awesome!
This game is a vast improvement from the other two games in the series. I'd highly recommend this game to anyone, no matter what other websites say about it. If you'd like you can get other reveiws about this game, hack, some might be better than mine cause they describe the levels they've played and stuff. But you'd be hard pressed to find a better game this Fall (not that it's impossible or anything).

Cooper Gang: Wanted Again

Once again, the Cooper Gang swings in to steal treasure and beat up criminals. The new features of this game is that you get to play as other characters, and this time it isn't just Bentley and Murray.
Guru: A decent character who can't attack but can use mind control and can reform himself.
Panda King: There is nothing like having an explosion of fireworks to destroy zombies.
Dmitri: Quite annoying to swim.
Penelope: Depending on where you are, her vehicles can be fun to use!
This game also brings back the usual platforming while running and beating up criminals.
My complaints about this game are these two things: Once again, the stealth has jumped out of the window, and with all the hard-to-control vehicles, the game can become a pain!

It is still the beloved platformer it always was, but the gameplay feels stale at times.

SLY 3

I love all the Sly games, just wish a new one would come out! I think this is my favorite series of all time, as it involves strategy, action, and puzzles all in one game (and no graphic violence). Being able to switch between three characters with differing abilities is great, too. The only con that I can think of is NOT BEING ABLE TO SKIP THE CUT SCENES!! I like to see the cut scene ONCE, not every time I redo a section. I should be able to just hit "start", or another button to skip it and get on with the play. Highly recommended game for all ages.Read full review...

Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves

Developer Sucker Punch continues its PS2 run with this third stealth-action platformer starring the affable scofflaw raccoon, Sly Cooper. As in earlier games, players will guide Sly and his crew through a series of missions that reward tactical planning, patient surveillance, and precise platform jumping. The story begins after the events of Sly Cooper 2, as Sly coaxes Bentley back to the team. It may be harder to convince Murray back into action, as he suffers from self-doubt after an accident in a previous adventure. Yet Sly needs the support of both his trusted friends, to thwart the attempts of a rival gang to steal his own Cooper family fortune ("it takes a thief..." as they say, but in this case it takes three). Both cooperative and competitive multiplayer missions are offered, and single-player replay value is added by the opportunity to revisit levels and attempt to earn a higher "Master Thief" rating. ~ J.T.Read full review...

Sly Cooper Rules!

I bought this game because I already had Sly 1 & 2. I think Sly Cooper is one of the best family games PLaystation offers. Sly 3 isn't as challenging as the first two but if you are a Sly fan you need this o ne to continue the story. My family loves this game series because of the characters. If you like comic books, you might enjoy the Sly games as well.Read full review...

Great!

It's an old game, but it's what I grew up with, so I enjoyed it a bunch. The controls are fun and the story is great. There were no scratches or other problems with the disc itself. Overall great quality.Read full review...
