opens with a slow camera shot around a glacier with haunting background music. julia ormond gives a truly dynamic performance. i have seen this movie 15 times and still cannot get enough. i keep buying copies for friends to be entertained by. not one complaint yet...only "good to great" responses. it did not get much hype in the u.s. because it was made in denmark. richard harris is also solid.Read full review...

CSI meets X-Files

What starts out as a suspenseful drama with overtones of forensics and a crime scene investigation eventually turns into a sort of X-Files sci-fi drama where the characters are confronted by an extraterrestrial object. Kind of like watching two movies in one, it could cause some viewers to get lost in a somewhat convoluted story.
