I bought this cd as an kid friendly way to introduce my children to jazz. Harry Connick, Jr. did a wonderful job of taking songs we knew and fusing his own unique style of swing, big band and his beloved New Orleans jazz sounds. The result is an A+++++ with kids and parents alike! As a fan of both musicals and Harry Connick, Jr., this CD is perfect. It takes several classic musical numbers and adds his touch of interpretation to them, giving new life to some great songs. WOW, not only do you get Harry's wonderful voice & 'big band' sound, but this CD is songs from our childhood (if you're in your 40's, LOL)...It get's my toes tapping & my spirit lifted!!
