Roam portable speaker by Sonos

Speaker is highly portable. Sounds good, but no better than other portable Bluetooth speakers I already own. We’ll, maybe slightly better for its size. The Wi-Fi connection is usually solid in and near my home so I use it often when stepping away from my main audio system.

Haven’t quite figured out how to keep it powered down when plugged in so it will not respond to Alexa commands intended for other devices. If unplugged the problem is solved, though I tend to charge the Roam whenever I use it.Read full review...

Good sound, some hassle

Compared to other Bluetooth speakers I’ve had, this Sonos Roam has a good sound but has its flaws. It doesn’t come with a power plug, only a cord. So right off the bat you need to buy a Sonos specific charger because Apple charger won’t work. Then you have to also download the Sonos ap for your phone and spend time setting that up. The final complaint I have is the battery life is way shorter than other speakers I have

I have NOT received the one I purchased through eBay. I do have one I bought from another source and it is wonderful as are the dozen or so Sonos products I have.

Crystal clear sound... my only complaint is that could use more bass. Has all the bells and whistles for a small package size. Recommended if you're cool with just okay bass response.
