~Amazing MUST-WATCH series for any motorcycle enthusiast!~

Even though Season 5 just ended tonight on FX, the show is STILL the most BA series on TV!

Created by Kurt Sutter, Sons of Anarchy follows the lives of a gun-dealing motorcycle club in Charming, California. The main character Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) resides as Vice President alongside President Clay Morrow (Ron Perlman). Jax attempts to take control of his life by making decisions that may jeopardize his future with the club, or potentially follow in his deceased father John Tellers' footsteps holding the gavel at the head of the table. Clay's wife Gemma Teller (Katey Sagal) and Jax's best friend Opie Winston (Ryan Hurst) also play amazing roles as the series begins to make the viewer grip their seat! Other characters include:

-Intelligence Expert 'Juice' (Theo Rossi)
-Secretary 'Bobby Elvis' (Mark Boone Jr.)
-Former IRA 'Chibs' (Tommy Flanagan)

This season will have you watching every episode, start to finish, with eyes glued to the screen! It involves all the stereotypical motorcycle club aspects such as sex, drugs, gear-heads, rival gangs, betrayal, murder, prison and more! One can only predict this show will live in infamy amongst motorcycle screenplays such as Easy Rider and Hells Angels on Wheels.

Fun facts about SOA:

-The creator, Kurt Sutter, portrays a character in the series known as Otto Delaney.
-Kurt Sutter's wife is actress Katey Sagal, who also portrays a character in the series.
-Known members of the infamous REAL MOTORCYCLE CLUB Hells Angels portray characters in this wild show such as:

~Legendary Sonny Barger: Founding member of the Oakland Chapter. Portrays Lenny 'The Pimp'.
~Actor Chuck Zito: Former President of the New York Chapter. Portrays a Nomad.
~David LaBrava: Portrays character 'Happy'.
~Rusty Coones: Founder of the Orange County Chapter. His band Attika7 has contributed songs to the show. His custom bike shop has also built motorcycles for creator, Kurt Sutter.

I am personally addicted to this show! The entire outlaw biker community is fascinating. I find it very interesting to know that the creator, Kurt Sutter, spent time with the Hells Angels (Likely why so many members portray characters) to get ideas and details for this show.

SAMCRO is awesome

I love the Sons of Anarchy series and love the extras on the Blu Ray disk...however I found that on many of the darker scenes the quality gets grainy...its not the disk because i occurs on all three and the machine is in excellent working condition other disks look great...so in short I couldnt give it an excellent rating because of the quality, which is strange for BLU Ray, but I would have if for not that fact...Read full review...

SAMCROW A-GO-GO

So someone lent me season 1 & I though, Oh man a Biker series with fake Hells angels, I don't want to watch this, So one day before giving it back unwatched I though I'll at least watch some of the pilot, OK well this ain't bad I'll watch all the pilot, then the next episode, then the next series & now, after just watching the last episode of series 2, I'm now re watching series one on my recently purchased Blu-Ray of my new favorite TV show & I'm now climbing the walls awaiting season 3 in Sept 2010!

I love this show, If you're a real biker, maybe you'll hate it, me I'm a bicycle rider with a Car on the weekend..so what do I know! I just love watching it..Only downside is the crappy metal rock soundtrack, but hey you can't have it all...Henry Rollins is great in series 2 as the White Brotherhood dude!

five star show starring charlie hunnam,katey sagel,ron perlman.about a california motorcycle gang selling guns, protection and other forms of anarchy.when jacks finds a manuscript written by his father[co founder of samcro].who wanted to take the gang in a different direction.he was set up by jacks mom jemma[katey sagal] and shot inthe back by his step dad,clay leader and co founder of samcro[ron perlman].jacks and clay start going back and forth. a must see from the creators of the sheild and the sopranos.if you loved the sopranos you love sons of anarchy.blows away the sopranos in every way.amust see series. in my opinion the best show on t.v. today tues 10 p.m. est. on fx. five out five stars.leejohn914Read full review...

Best show in a decade.

Sopranos probably remains number one in my book. Have a number of other all-time favorites, but this one has unquestionably snuck past them all into the number two spot. Certainly as intense and compelling as Sopranos and damn near as good. Might sound almost blashphemous to some but in my opinion worthy of comparison. Give it a shot. Great plot. Great action. Just finish watching season 2

I love the action. The fight within in the club and within each individual. I purchased the tape after I start watching Season 2 with my husband who I kept asking questions. After watching Season 1 I followed season 2 better never missing an episode. DVR's are great they tape even when you're not home.Read full review...

Worth a look, but over rated.

First season. First, second and third episodes a true hit!!!! After that the show gets very repetitive. Never watched the show on TV. Just at home on disc. Watched 1-2 episodes a day. Not sure if that's the reason why I feel about it that way.

this is 1 show i always look forward to. season after season it keeps getting better and better. this is definetly worth my money. cant wait for other seasons to come out on blue ray soon.

Great series!

We both love this series. We've lived the biker lifestyle since we were rugrats. Now we're in our late 40's and been riding Harley's pretty much our whole lives.
