I purchased the unit as a way for my family to organize all of their CDs into one location. It might have been smarter to have bid on a 400 CD unit but I was careful to get a unit with the remote and owner manual. I think it would have been very discouraging to attempt to figure out the unit's operation without the manual. The remote is also very helpful in operating the unit. Without the remote it would be necessary to walk up to the unit for operation.Overall, this is an excellent unit and I would recommend one like it to organize a CD collection. Sony has these available in 100, 200, and 400 disc units. Get one adequate for your needs with a manual and remote. I believe you will be very satisfied.Read full review...

Expanding The Library of my collection

I bought one exactly like this some years back, to replace them100 disc Sony which I had filled. Thiis 200 cd changer works good, except I have more CDs now, so, now I have linked them both together, and since they are the same model and make, I can control both with the one remote. There are more features on these cd changers than I care to use, but they work dependably with my systems. I go more with MP3 albums, but still get CDs from time to time, and into the changers they go.Read full review...

I don't have to change the disk evey time... I can have 200 CD disk in one unit... That is the main purpose for me to buy this unit and I don't have to change the disk when I got bore of one disk... I do not think that 100 character is a good idea. It took too much time for a person to type up 100 charaters... Not Happy

This is the first time I am disappointed with a purchase on EBay. I purchased it used on EBay expecting it would work as was advertised. The lights come on, the carousel turns but the discs do not play. There is a hideous noise that is made when the carousel comes to a stop and the disc falls in to the wrong place. I have to manually pull the disc out and when I slect a new disc, the same thing happens. I have not been able to play a single song out of it this player and am very disappointed.Read full review...
