Incredible capacity and stunning sound that really delivers what you want!

Amazing quality, sturdy construction, and flawless sound, make this unit a real "hit" in our home. With a capacity of 300 discs, this unit can keep the music going for hours on end. Easy to set-up, and almost silent interchange of CDs, the unit looks sharp and performs exceedingly well. RCA or fiber-optic OUTPUTS for ease in connection to your receiver or amplifier. Discs can be easily identified with the integrated input by plug-in keyboard port on the front. Just pop in a CD, type the name of the artist, and that's it. Now, you can use the selector knob to highlight your CDs as you run through your disc library. Very good output sound (I use optical), and nearly seamless change from CD-to-CD. You can even store "groups" for types of music you want to listen to at particular times.

PROS: Virtually silent operation, easy to read controls, crisp display, color LEDs for access notification (in CD bay), incredible room (#300), grouping options, clean music output signal.

CONS: Very large unit and bulky. Not good for transporting - must take ALL CDs out of unit before doing so. Automatically starts playing if connected to switchable power source (e.g. receiver/amplifier output).

If you have a lot of CDs, buy one or two of these.

If you have a lot of CDs and don't want to completely retire them for mp3s and Itunes, get this player!

I have this one and the Sony 400 CD changer connected together and nearly full. I got rid of all my CD jewel cases and saved the artwork. I then bought a couple of CD binders and numbered the binder slots 1-700. Then I put CDs into the player and the artwork in the corresponding numbered binder slot. Voila - an old-school tactile listening experience, complete with artwork and liner notes in your hands and accessible! (I also took the time to type the CD names into the players so it comes up on the display, but it's very time-consuming.)

Hope this helps you....

Oldie but goodie

We had a 60 CD Technics changer/player, but it died. Took a chance on this used 300 CD changer, and glad I did. Works great, sounds great. Only negative is the large physical size of the unit. Had it been any deeper or taller and I would have to find a different place for it. Came with no remote, but I can live with that. Also no operating manual, but found online and downloaded.Read full review...

Sony CDP-CX350 300-Disc CD Changer

my first review.
I like the price i paid and it has some cool functions like the fader but i do wish it showed how much time is left during each song. The CD player i replaced showed time remaining and it was invaluable to me in what i do which is edit skydiving videos.
This recorder also takes a while to change cd's when going from one cd to another. I am used to quicker changes but again, for the price, it was a great deal.

Sony CDP-CX 350

Great machine - I own 12 of them. As long as the machines area it abused they work faithfully for years.
