Great Camera but lacking...

Great Camera, but lacking a print friendly instruction manual. It has an on line manual with a links to the instructions for all the cameras features, but no page numbers, ONLY links. So if you wanted to print the instructions for a pocket manual it would not work [without an index]. I don't carry a computer with me when I am traveling or out in the field, so if I need to know how a feature or setting works, I have to wait until I get home to look it up on my computer. Completely useless...
Had I known there was no way to get a printed manual I would not have purchased the camera, I would have gone with a Nikon or a Canon instead.

Lens just ok, too many megapixels for small sensor

I bought this camera because I wanted it's Wi-Fi feature as well as its 500mm range,
It was going to replace my Panasonic Dmc-zs5. After shooting some samples, I realized that
It was a downgrade in quality compared to the image quality from the 12mp Panasonic, and
has far less manual control. The lens on the Panasonic was much sharper at the edges and the Panasonic pics had
better color and dynamic range. I sold it..

not a bad camera

takes good photos for the size of camera. The main complaint is that it is slow to start and tp shut down and it doesn't close the lens when the battery goes dead. If you don't have a spare battery, you are stuck with the lens sticking out until you can plug it in or change the battery.Read full review...

Great color rendition outdoors, plus fine macro, zoom, details, and video

(I am a serious amateur photographer, who had a job for 4 years that required me to take excellent professional-quality photos in a hospital.) This tiny camera takes some of the best pictures I have ever taken, even measured against a bulky DSL camera costing $1,000. I bought it for the bright colors and the macro functions, both of which are superb. Fairly easy to use, but the menu is a bit more complicated than a point and shoot should be. It also comes with no printed manual, which is typical of many newer cameras. The video is amazing for a camera at this price...even using the zoom function. I took a video of a bluebird that showed wonderful color and great detail...every feather was shown in detail, even using the zoom and in shade. I am not that happy with indoor photos using the auto functions...colors are not very good. Also, the flash is not the best; but I rarely use flash. But for overall quality of taking photos using natural or outdoor light, or using a zoom and for macro work, this camera is simply amazing. I have taken photos that show so much detail, I couldn't believe it.Read full review...

It is very handy and clear photos.-

You have no specific instructions. I mean, things that aren't familiar to me, doesn't explain how to use them. Neither has "shot" in the middle of the movie I take. I mean, My old camera allowed me to take pictures even taking movies. Otherwise it is handy and the photos come out clear.Read full review...

Compact camera, takes great photos even at 20x zoom. High quality hardware + software and top design!

I have had many SONY cameras, first one was W330 14.1MP which could take awesome images at landscape, you would be amazed. Then I bought W730 16.1MP which was a little improvement in overall images quality but WX350 is totally different level, it has SONY's latest technologies like: Exmor R CMOS sensor, BIONZ X image processor, Sony G Lens and so on.

Exmor R CMOS sensor with a BIONZ X image processor to deliver bright, sharp detail in every frame and a wide ISO range of 80–12800 delivers pin-sharp results in LOW LIGHT.

Main advantages are:

Compact site, can fit in your pocketses.
Can take Full HD videos at AVCHD format.
Can share images with Wi-Fi ® and NFC.
Can be controlled by your smartphone.
Has Picture Effects with PANORAMA function.
Has Bright and big HQ LCD screen with Advanced Flash.

SENSOR TYPE
1/2.3" type (7.76 mm) Exmor R® CMOS sensor

NUMBER OF PIXELS (EFFECTIVE)
18.2MP

ISO SENSITIVITY (STILL IMAGE) (RECOMMENDED EXPOSURE INDEX)
ISO 100-12800

Awesome Camera

The G lens is awesome and I have taken some incredible shots that my other 4 Sony cameras are not able to do (I'm a Sony guy when it comes to point & shoot)...
Video is beautiful! Colors are rich (compared to Sony TX10 & TX100v, 2 other cameras I own and love) and camera movement is stunningly smooth with the slick 60 frames per second.

Only downside is I had trouble cleaning the lens since it is manufacture refurbished. The retailer should have given the camera a nice new lens cover (hint hint, cough cough)

Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. It travels with me everywhere.

Excellent small compact camera

For my use, it’s a very good camera although with a maximum f 3.5, it’s obviously not exactly a low-light camera.

Experimenting with the three built-in different shooting modes, “Gourmet” scene mode, Superior Auto, and Program Auto, I can get reasonably good low light closed-up shots.

Sony’s video quality is always very good, and under adequate lighting conditions, there is absolutely no noticeable defocusing (hesitation or stutter) when the lens is zoomed in or out.

Nice camera

Nice Camera, easy to use and photos are pretty good. Landscapes are a bit grainy but that might be the settings.

Super zoom, super compact

Great value in a true pocket camera - in adequate light the images are very good. Light weight, works in a cell phone gimbal stabilizer for video. Zoom from 25-500mm (35mm equiv.)
